I officially am spending some amount of time in Kisenyi every day now, and every time I leave I just can't wait to get back. I have totally fallen in love with the people, especially the boys, but also the entire community. Regardless of the fact that they are drowning in poverty, illness, pain, homelessness, drug abuse, and constant danger just living day to day...there is never a shortage of smiles, hugs, and gratitude. Pretty astounding really.

The program just keeps growing and growing, we fed 77 people last Wednesday!!

Praying over our food.

Mission Free John Joshua was a success!! He is back in the mix and scrappy as ever. LOVE HIM!!!

Sally cannot come and provide medical care for the boys during the program anymore because his class schedule changed, so Martin kindly informed me that I was now going to be in charge of the medical care...don't even ask me, I have no idea. So, instead of going into a complete state of panic, I went to the pharmacy and bought all the things I thought we might need and got to work. It is mostly wound care, and the really serious situations I send to Dr. Everest at the clinic across from the Community Hall - me and the Doc are getting to be pretty tight since I am in that clinic with a different medical issue pretty much every single day.

About to get his tooth pulled at the clinic...
(Where is Doctor B when you need him?!)

Going to visit some friends that live right above where we are standing.

Martin and the boys :)
